Desert Safari

Desert sandboarding is one of the most popular folk sports in the UAE and even the entire Arab region. The ways of sandboarding are similar. Sandboarders can drive their own four-wheel drive off-road vehicles or take specially equipped jeeps to rush up from the bottom of the sand dunes to the top of the dunes, and then slide between the sand peaks and valleys, freely shuttling back and forth.

Compared with other cities in the world, Dubai is unique. Its unique beauty comes from the difference of its scenery: half is sea and half is desert.

The greater the angle of the sand dune, the more difficult it is to hit. Sometimes, when facing a steep slope of 60 or 70 degrees, the car engine makes a loud noise and the car body almost stands upright, which makes people sweat. Every time the off-road vehicle rushes up the sand dune, the people in the car always scream involuntarily! In the blink of an eye, the car slides down the sand dune quickly, making people feel weightless like riding a roller coaster.

Sand rushing is not only a place to show courage, but also a stage to show driving skills. People who are not familiar with the desert will get stuck in the sand as soon as they drive on it, and the more they step on the accelerator, the deeper the car will sink.

During the sand dune rushing process, the driver usually stops the car at the top of the sand dune and lets the passengers get off to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the desert. Everywhere you look, there is spreading golden color, and countless layers of sand patterns are like waves.

Walking barefoot on the sand ridges as fine as cotton is a unique experience. Step hard on the steep surface of the sand dunes, and the fine sand pours down like mercury. The breeze blows gently, and the endless desert rolls up dots of yellow sand. At this time, you have a feeling of being in an oil painting.
